Asparagus, bacon and Parmesan

2 person starter – 10 minutes

Ingredients:

8 stalks thick green or violet asparagus, bottom of stems removed

8 slices streaky bacon, browned over high heat, cut in pieces

Strips of Parmesan cheese sliced off the block using a vegetable-peeler.

Preparation:

Cook the asparagus in a little water in the microwave 6 minutes at 800 W

Serve covered with crisp bacon and Parmesan.
