Banana yoghurt iced dessert

 

2 to 4 person dessert – 1 hour + 10 minutes

 

Real ice cream has an egg-and-milk custard base and needs an ice-cream maker (sorbetière). This quick and simple dessert uses a base of banana and yoghurt and only needs the freezer compartment of the average fridge.

 

Ingredients:

200 grams peeled bananas, chopped into small dice, bagged and frozen for 1 hour.

200 grams raspberries or strawberries, frozen for one hour.

140 grams natural yoghurt (or a non-dairy equivalent)

 

Put the yoghurt and the frozen bananas into a mixer or blender and mix until smooth.

Add the frozen berries and re-mix.

Serve immediately, or keep in the fridge or freezer until required.
