Beef marinated in Asian spices



Beef marinated in Asiatic spices

2 person main dish – 30 minutes + 2 hours

Ingredients:

300 g beef steak in two pieces

1 cm ginger root, peeled and grated

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon liquid honey

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

2 teaspoons Chinese Five Spice

2 teaspoons pink peppercorns (optional)

Preparation:

Blend together all the ingredients except the steak to form a marinade.

Add the meat to the marinade and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Remove the meat and seal it on both sides in olive oil in a frying pan.

Then place the meat in an oven dish with the marinade.

Bake at 180°C for 12 minutes (or 15 minutes for well-done).

Serve with accompanying vegetable.
