Fish Chorizo and Pastis


Fish, potato, chorizo with pastis

2 person main course – 30 minutes

Pastis is sold as “anise” or Ricard; Vermouth or gin will do instead

Ingredients for the potatoes:

50 grams chorizo, skinned and sliced thinly

250 grams firm potatoes, peeled and sliced

2 tablespoons pastis

Ingredients for the fish:

1 tablespoon olive oil

A handful of cherry tomatoes cut in halves

20 grams parsley, finely chopped

2 cod steaks (or other firm fish)

2 tablespoons pastis

Preparation:

Put the potatoes and chorizo in a microwavable dish.

Add the pastis. Cover the dish and cook 5 minutes at 800 W.

Heat the oil in a lidded frying pan. Tip in the potatoes.

Cover with tomatoes and parsley. Place the fish on top.

Pour the pastis over the fish.

Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes. Serve.
